A Very Merry Anniversary!


I was writing another post when I realized today is So Lonely in Gorgeous's two year anniversary. I want to thank everyone for taking interest in this blog. Words cannot express my appreciation, but nonetheless, a big THANK YOU ^-^

For my anniversary, I wanted to do something like show you my makeup collection, nail polish collection, etc. Let me know which one you'd like to see first :D

    HAPPY ANNIVERSARY So Lonely in Gorgeous!!!
    Every time I read the title of your blog, it makes me a little sad. I don't want anyone being 'lonely' anywhere, ever!!
    I'm ALL for the makeup collection AND the nail polish. Bring it on, give us some luxe eyecandy :)

      The "Lonely" was added since no one here understands my fanaticism towards makeup. I'm a one woman show here, but that's okay because I have all of you ;)

      I was wondering how to show my makeup collection, should I divide it up by product (i.e. blush, eyeshadow, lipstick, etc)? Any suggestions?

      I'm sure that showing it all at once would be a massive sensory overload, so yipp, I'd divide it up. Let's start with blushes :)
      Or blushes & blush brushes :)))))
      I think in our day-to-day lives most of us are alone in our makeup collecting craziness so it really is fun to be able to share with like-minded fanatics.

      Okay, another questions then ;P I was thinking of dividing my blushes into three posts: drug store, high-end, and MAC. For some reason people want to see mac makeup in it's own post. Opinions?

      Hmmmm...I assume that your collection is big enough to post a different bluch a day for a year so splitting it up might be a good idea ;)
      I most like blushes of a similar shade together. Personally, it doesn't matter to me which brand it is. I like to see the shade, finish & packaging compared. Bearing in mind though that it's going to be a huge mission on your part, I'd say that you should just go ahead & present your stash in a way which suits you best. You'll never be able to please everyone anyway :)

      Thank you Petronella, by the way, I'm following your blog now :) I squealed when I read that you're from Hungary. I'm intrigued by the history and culture. Planning a trip to Hungary next year!

      As for the polish collection, should divide it by brand, color, or just show it all and just list all the names?

      Hahaha, it feel like 200 years, and god knows I hae 200 years worth of makeup :P

      I'm probably going to do the collection posts via video, since it would be easier to show everything.
