Question: do you have products floating around in your collection, with the hopes of one day liking them or finding a way to make them work for you?

Ignore the brush marks on the lipstick.

Well, that's my predicament with the Visee Creamy Lipstick in PK804. I got PK804 back in Spring of 2014, when my beloved Kate, asked me to pick one for her (one for her, one for me).

Having only worn PK804 four times, I found the lipstick's excessively slippery formula didn't lend itself to be applied directly from the tube; doing so results in an exorbitant amount of product on the lips and unevenness. Also, this lipstick made its home into ever single line on my lips, dried them out, and left them a chapped, patchy stained mess. The only way to get PK804 to work for me is to: prep the lips with loads of balm, and either apply with a lip brush or pat it onto the lips.

I'm not sure what I'm going to do with Visee's PK804 Creamy Lipstick...but for now, I'm going to keep trucking and give it a few more chances.

Do you have any lipsticks in your stash that you have issues with?

  1. I hate it when a new product (which is something I'm always excited about) turns out to be a waste of time and money...It's just so frustrating and I can never bear to throw them out so I end up hoarding them until some poor soul comes along and leaves bearing the whole pile! :P

    1. Agree! It's hard to get rid of these products, especially with the more expensive brands. However, I'm trying to work on that, and starting to purge my overgrown collection.

Anna, do you have a blog, twitter or some other form of media? Also, what part of the world do you live in?
