On Instagram, I keep seeing posts of people burning all these Fall candles. As much as I would love to start enjoying autumn scents, it's still Summer, and it's way too hot and humid to have all those heavier notes wafting around.
Sticking to lighter, fresher fragrances is a great way to enjoy the summer vibes. Citrus,Summer florals, and tropical scents can keep things bright and refreshing in my home.
Village Candle's Citrus Twist is a fragrance that blends bright, zesty citrus notes with sweet, fruity undertones.
Citrus Twist's scent notes are: Tangerine, Lemon Peel, Pineapple, and Grapefruit Blossom.
On cold and during burning, I don't detect any pineapple, and only a faint hint of lemon. The dominate scents are grapefruit and targerine, with a stronger emphasis of a tangerine peel rather than the fruit itself.
Citrus Twist isn't a bad fragrance, but it wasn’t what I was expecting. Based on the note descriptions, I anticipated something juicier and more citrusy; instead, the scent didn’t align with my expectations. I’m glad I tried it; it performed well with a good throw; however, I won’t be repurchasing.
